Repeat this process three times. Place all three of your folded and stitched cardstock elements together in a star shape. Gather all the stitched end tails together in your hand and tie in a knot, bringing the corners together securely. Then cut any access thread off. Use a hot glue gun to glue the end pieces together along the short folded edges.

Different Sizes: The tutorial is written to use 4" x 16" rectangles which makes a nice size star. You can vary the finished star size by using narrower rectangles. Try 3 1/2" x 14", 3" x 12", or even 2 1/2" x 10" for cute little stars. Starch Generously: Use your favorite starch or starch alternative generously when pressing the rectangles.
